  Sanjeevani Ayachit is an Associate prof. and Dy. Director at Symbiosis Institute of Design, Pune, India. She also heads the Fashion department at the institute. She has taught at several reputed fashion and design schools in Pune and her areas of research interest are heritage Indian textile, costumes, design thinking and inclusive design. She has co authored a book documenting the textiles, clothing and accessories in the Kelkar Museum, Pune. The book is recently published under ISBN: 978-93-83418-708 (Print). She is an avid reader and reearcher and is currently pursuing her PhD at Symbiosis International (Deemed University) on the costumes of the Peshwa period.
