  Marcela is a Sociology PhD student at UNICAMP, Brazil. Her research focuses on cliamte change and human displacement, in particular on the decision-making arena about cases of slow onset impacts of global warming. Her sociological work adopts the conceptual-analytical framework arena, which has been very suitable to analyse this problematic so far. The current research is supported by CAPES (Coordenação de Aperfeiçoamento de Pessoal de Nivel Superior) in Brazil.
