  I am a native of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province of Pakistan. This region is gravely hit by the religious extremists in the recent past. I belonged to district Swabi's small village namely Yaqubi. I passed through a very difficult period in my life due to religious militacy in our region. I did my graduation from the presitigious Islamia College in Peshawar and then move to Islamabad to complete Mphil and PhD. Currently, I am Assistant Professor, Department of History, Quaid-di-Azam University Islamabad. I published a book Mughal-Afghan Relations in South Asia History and Developments in 2015. Another manuscript will be published by the Oxford University Press soon. The title is Pakistan National Awami Party: Nature and Direction of Politics. I published almost 20 articles in national and international journala. I organized a number of international conferences on various themes. I was the associate editor of Mujalla Tarikh wa Saqafat-i-Pakistan, an urdu language journal. I presented papers in some national and international conferences on various topics ranging from Afghanistan, Pakhtuns history, politics, Mughal India, Sufism and many more. I am supervising 5 PhD and 6 Mphil students in the Department of History, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. Besides, I am incharge of the students affairs in the department. Being a faculty member, I am also a member of the Excutive Council of the Acadamic Staff Association of the university.
