  Originally from Italy, Carolina Bergonzoni is privileged to be a dance artist, PhD student in Arts Education (Simon Fraser University), and an educator on the Unceded Coast Salish territories of the Musqueam, Squamish, and Tsleil-Waututh First Nations, known as Vancouver. She holds a BA and an MA in Philosopy, as well as an MA in Comparative Media Arts; her research intrests include dance education, phenomenology, inclusivity and accessibility, and language and translation in dance. Her academic work, as well as her choreographic work, has been published in English and Italian, and it has been presented at various conferences accorss Europe and Canada. Since 2011, she has been working toward building communities of movers and thinkers. She is honoured to be working with the inclusive dance company All Bodies Dance Project.
