  Following the successful completion of the degree on Sociology in the University of Coimbra - path which was combined with very active engagement in student activism activities - served as volunteer at the presidency of the World Federation of Democratic Youth. During those years, i had the opportunity to exchange experiences with youth organizations throughout the whole globe, debating and outlining youth strategies for enhancing equal rights agenda. After which, i worked in politics in Portugal taking different responsibilities that broadened my political, social and cultural horizons. Currently, i am undertaking a post-graduation on Peace Education at the University of Lisbon.
