  I am I highly motivated person with long working experience in International Relations in Higher Education. My participation in international university networks and my contact with international students was a great influence in my decision to change my PhD topic to "Internationalisation of Universities based on their georgraphic location". Beside, I have run a number of initiatives within the University, which led to the establishment of the Laboratory of Greek language and culture and the inclusion of Greek cultural course in the incoming Erasmus studies. I undertook a longlasting survey on Erasmus incoming students and now I am ready to publish the results. Other initiatives concerned the connection of the Laboratory with the city of Patras through students' projects and concrete interaction with cultural and regional authorities. I also organise cultural and mutlicultural events in primary and secondary schools located within the University campus. I have run two Erasmus Mundus programmes with Argentina (Eurotango) and Brasil (IBrasil) bringing students and professors from both coutries to Patras University while, for the first time, Greek Erasmus Mundus students have traveled to Brasil for an exchange study period. I was trained to organise a seminar for university administrators regarding internationalisation related to the SUCTI (Systemic University Change Towards Internationalisation) project, run by Spanish University. I have presented my research progress twice in HEPNET (Higher Education Policy Network) in Primary Education Department of Patras University.
