Daniel is a PhD Candidate at NUS Architecture, passionate about cities. He is a published author with Housing & Society, and reviewer for Social Science Research and Housing & Society. He sits on the editorial borad of the Journal of Integrative Medicine (PiscoMed). Having obtained the MND Mid-term Scholarship and worked as an architect with the Urban Redevelopment Authority of Singapore, where he drafted and piloted various policies including the on-going Streets For People programme for place-making, Daniel is studying the effects of neighbourhood spaces in Singapore's exemplary public housing on older people's psychosocial wellbeing. Daniel was awarded the AAA Travel Prize for Best Student in History and Theory of Modern Architecture, and was Global Student Delegate of NUS at the Chicago Forum on Global Cities 2018.
