  I live in La Plata City, Argentina. I have a PhD in Social Sciences and a Bachelor's Degree in Communication. I am also a university professor for undergraduate and graduates students in two Argentine public universities (Universidad Nacional de La Plata and Universidad Nacional de las Artes), and researcher at the Instituto de Investigación en Humanidades y Ciencias Sociales. In the last few years I've been developing my research in two directions: at the theoretical level, I've devoted myself to integrate elements from sociology of communication, the mediatization theory and semiotics; at the empirical level, I've worked on comparative studies (in terms of controversies and disputes of political and news media discourses en Argentina. At a professional level, since I got my first university degree, my work life is a constant passage across learning, research and teaching. I have participated in collective research projects. I am certain that research and teaching are mutually nourishing practices. And this is not a commitment statement, nor a slogan. From my personal experience, the feedback between specific research and teaching is almost direct; while research work forces us to systematize knowledge, update readings, to test hypothesis and to produce empirical objects, teaching is a space in which this produced knowledge must be communicated, exemplified,and contrasted with the students' concerns and ideas. .
