I am an experienced attorney who has practiced law for more than forty years. I have done a great deal of work in commercial litigation in both state and federal courts and in securities arbitrations. I have been teaching in college - both part time and full time over the last 21 years. I am an Associate Professor in the Business Department of Queensborough Community College of the City University of New York located in Bayside, Queens, New York City . I teach Business Law and Business Organization and Management. Previously, I taught Principles of Finance and Elements of Marketing. For ten years, I was the faculty advisor/coach of the Queensborough Community College Mock Trial Team which competed in a national intercollegiate mock trial competition in which approximately three hundred colleges and universities participated. Queensborough Community College was one of a very few two year colleges in the competition. My experience in this competition taught me the great value such academic competitions have to the educator looking for ways to engage and motivate students. I am a member and the secretary of the Queensborough Community College Faculty Executive Committee. I am active in local government, serving as a Trustee and the Deputy Mayor of the village in which Iive, the Village of Great Neck Plaza in Nassau County, New York. I am married. My wife, Nancy and I have two grown children and three young grandchildren.
