Thomas M. Green, Ph.D. is Professor of sociology at National University in La Jolla, California. Prior to joining National University, Dr. Green was the chief of research and statistics for the Attorney General of the State of Hawaii. He served as state director for the Uniform Crime Reporting Program and the chief administrator for the State Statistical Analysis Center. While at National University, he has served as chair of several departments, Dean of the School of Business and Management, Associate Provost, Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Provost. He has made more than 20 presentations at professional conferences, is the author or co-author of numerous statistical reports, and has published in the areas of domestic violence, sexual assault, police discretion, and mental illness.
