Dr. Tamikia Lott, HS-BCP has more than 18 years of experience in direct services, leadership, training, research, management, grant writing, and organizational development in human services. She is currently the Director of Juvenile Justice Training Delivery and Curriculum Development for Tennessee Department of Children Services; as well as an Assistant Professor (online) with Old Dominion University. Dr. Lott is an innovative, strategic, and organizational planner who has made a considerable impact as a board certified practitioner of human services and the Advocacy Chair for NOHS. She has developed, implemented, and managed a therapeutic foster care program; as well as major training initiatives and other programs within the child welfare industry and juvenile justice system. She has a wealth of knowledge regarding child welfare, juvenile justice, and culture diversity. Dr. Lott brings a rich experience with the leadership, staff, and children and families of the human services field. Additionally, she has served as a master trainer and lead facilitator for many professional development and workforce enhancement efforts in the field of human services. Lastly, Dr. Lott continues to make a measurable impact in the lives of human service students and professionals through teaching and presenting at conferences.
