Synthia Angelina is currently a PhD candidate in the Institute of Urban and Transportation Planning at RWTH Aachen University, Germany. She obtained her M. Sc. in Transportation System and B. Eng in Civil Engineering at Gadjah Mada University, Indonesia. During her studies, she received some awards and scholarships. Her research interests revolve around the area of urban transportation management, urban transportation policy, sustainable development, strategic planning method and urban planning issues, especially in developing countries. Her current research focuses on the sustainable transportation planning and strategies to improve urban mobility.
