Swee Bing received Bachelor in Architecture (Hon) from University of Newcastle in 1992.
She practiced in the architectural industry for many years before joining Singapore Polytechnic in 2003. She has taught in School of Architecture, as well as Business School in Singapore Polytechnic. Swee Bing's current focus is on the development of a new initiative, Learning Experience Design (LED), which promotes user-centered design approach and co-creation of new learning and/or working spaces to drive innovation within Singapore Polytechnic as well as for external clients. She is also a member of a multi-disciplinary team of Design Thinking trainers in Singapore Polytechnic, trained by Rotman Designworks from Toronto, Canada. She has experience in planning, designing, and facilitating co-creation workshops for both internal and external partners.
