  Dr Shun-yee Ho is a principal lecturer and supervisor of doctoral students of the Faculty of Education at the University of Hong Kong and was given the Distinguished Teacher Award by the Faculty. She obtained her PhD in East Asian languages and literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. She has a master degree in comparative literature (University of Washington, Seattle). She has published widely on literature and education, including the books "Teaching Literature through Drama" and "Teaching and Learning of Literature in Translation".
