I am presently pursuing Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) from the Centre for the Study of Law and Governance (CSLG), Jawaharlal Nehru University. My research title is Law, Regulation and the Nature of Work: A Study of Employment Relations in India. My core research area is globalization, economic transformation and social change- impacts on policymaking and governance. I have pursued my Master of Philosophy (M.Phil) research and completed dissertation titled “Law, Regulation and Social Development: The Case of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) in India”. My academic focus intertwines the aspects of the field of Regulation and Public Policy focusing in the arena of Employment Relations, Diversity and Inclusion, Corporate Governance, Corporate Social Responsibility and Labour Relations. Prior to my academic research, I have approximately four years of work experience in the corporations, government and non-government sector. I was a member of multilateral consulting team in the Aid and Development consulting wing of EY India. Sustainability, Climate Change and CSR advisory in KPMG India and undertook monitoring and Evaluation consulting with Delhi Government and Access Development Services. I have recently authored a chapter on CSR in the book “Corporate Governance in India: Change and Continuity”, published by Oxford University Press.
