I had a Bachelors degree in English in 2006 and a Masters degree in English (Literature) in 2013 from the Bayero University, Kano-Nigeria.I also obtained a PhD in Literature from the University of Zululand, South Africa in 2016, where I doubled up as a lecturer and research assistant. I started working as a Graduate Assistant with the Department of English and French, Umaru Musa Yar'adua University, Katsina-Nigeria, in 2008. I have risen to the Lecturer I cadre and teach courses such as: Shakespearean Studies, European Drama, African Drama, Non-Fiction Prose, Research Methodology, Literary Theory, Literary Appreciation, Studies in Drama, European Novel, etc. I have supervised many dissertations at the undergraduate level and currently supervising postgraduate dissertations.
