Dr. Sallie Middleton is a professor of history at Palm Beach State College, Lake Worth, Fl. USA. She holds a Master's degree in Modern European History and a PhD in Modern United States history. She has done research on NASA, Florida History, and Political History. Dr. Middleton is a proud alumnae of Florida International University, where she completed her doctoral work. She did not grow up with the game of ice hockey, nor has she played the game, but has an interest as both an historian and a fan.
