Roxanne received her Master’s Degree in Speech-Language Pathology in 2002 from Ottawa University. Since this time, she is a registered member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologist of Ontario (CASLPO). She is a practicing Speech Language Pathologist with clinical experience in neonatology and paediatric settings. During her career, she has worked in a multidisciplinary team with both preschool and school aged children having speech and language disorders. Roxanne is an Assistant Professor, lecturing in the undergraduate and graduate programs in Speech Language Pathology. In 2013, she successfully completed her doctoral studies in Human Studies at Laurentian University, studying neurodevelopmental outcomes of children born prematurely. Her research interests include, but are not limited to the assessment and treatment of speech and language disorders in Official Language Minority Communities (OLMC), specifically those found in Northern Ontario, Canada. She has lectured both nationally and internationally on this topic.
