Trails of Honey

It was back in the olden days where there were two girls named Annabell and Molly who loved exploring, finding and doing new things. There where never any tvs back then so they were always outside. After lunch Molly asked their mum if they could play hide and seek outside.

The mother politely said, ''Yes.'' The mother also said, ''Only if you take care of Annabell and makes sure she doesn't wander off like she always does.''

Molly said, ''Fine.'' As if she didn't want to take care of her but she did.

Annabell loved eating honey. She was always carrying thick jars of honey with her everywhere and was always dipping her hands in the smooth silky honey.  Always leaving trails and trails. The problem was that there were woods nearby so there was a 50% percent chance that she could be eaten by a bear. That's why her mother always worried about her and not only that she could even get lost in the woods.

Molly was counting first all the way to fifty while Annabell was trying to find somewhere to hide. She ran and she ran until she was in the middle of nowhere and she was lost. "Oh no!" she screeched! She tried going back but wherever she went she was just getting lost. Then Molly finished counting so she looked in Annabll's favourite hiding spots but she wasn't there. She looked near the lake but still not there. Then she started getting really worried. After half an hour she had enough. The next time she started calling her name there was no answer. She wanted to tell her mother but she knew she was told to take care of Annabell.

Then she saw a trail of honey and she knew that was a sign of Annabell so she followed the trails, calling out, "Annabell, Annabell." She found out the trails were leading into the woods so she suddenly reeled back quickly. She was afraid of what could be in there especially bears but she had no choice. She went in for her sister.  As she walked slowly through the bush she thought to herself, "Where could Annabell be?" Then she heard a soft crying voice. There were no more trails of honey as she had found Annabell! She was in between two sharp rocks with her hands over her eyes, crying and crying.

Molly said, "come on, Annabell, let's get you home. You can tell me about it later and never do that again.'

So Annabell learned her lesson: be aware of your surroundings and always stay with your oldest siblings.
