The Lost Cat

No one likes the smell of old cat and fluff everywhere. This was a problem for an old fluffy cat that no one wanted.

The cat had to be brave, smart and confident just to survive. She had to rummage around in bins just to find food, one time she even fell inside the bin. She tried to get out but she couldn't, she was stuck and scared.

Matilda found her in the trash can and picked her up. "You poor thing, come inside and I'll get you some food." Matilda took her inside and gave her some food, water and shelter. The cat stayed with Matilda for five nights so she had to think of a name for the cat. These are the names she thought of: Magic,Brave,Tinkerbell,Princess,Sky,Sammy,Maggie and Ginger but the best name of all was...... Fluffy!!! Matilda loved the name. She whispered to the cat while she was resting, "Your new name is Fluffy." Just then Fluffy felt part of a family. She felt warm and nice inside. She had never felt this way before.

Matilda knew that she couldn't keep Fluffy because Fluffy might have another family. Even though Matilda loved Fluffy with all her heart she knew that the best thing for Fluffy was to take her to the vet. So she took Fluffy to the vet and left her there without saying goodbye. Fluffy felt so sad, alone and abandoned.

After a couple of days Matilda came back because she heard that no-one had claimed Fluffy.  Matilda filled up with joy when she saw Fluffy and Fluffy was really happy to see Matilda. So they went back to her house. Then Matilda had her own family with kids, and the kids loved Fluffy with all their hearts.
