Reshmi J. Hebbar is an Assistant Professor of English at Oglethorpe University and has taught courses in multicultural and transnational literature at several Atlanta colleges. Her book, Modeling Minority Women: Heroines in African and Asian American Fiction (Routledge) was reprinted in 2010. Her courses often intersect with pop-culture themes, and she has taught on Children's Literature and Television, too. Recent projects focus on tracing the legacy of slavery through domestic labor in women's narratives.
