Rachel Gur-Arie is PhD Candidate in Health Systems Management at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev in Beer Sheva, Israel. In collaboration with the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), Gur-Arie's research focuses on influenza vaccination uptake among healthcare personnel (HCPs). Her dissertation work will center around communicable disease prevention interventions among HCPs. From 2015-2016, Gur-Arie was a Fulbright Student Scholar in Israel and decided to continue her work for her PhD. She earned her Master's degree in Bioethics, Policy, and Law and undergraduate degree in Biology and Society and the History and Philosophy of Science at Arizona State University in Tempe, Arizona.
