Rahul K. Gairola, Ph.D. (U of Washington, U.S.A.), is Assistant Professor of English & Comparative Literature in the Dept. of Humanities & Social Sciences (HSS) at the Indian Institute of Technology Roorkee, India. He is the author of Homelandings: Postcolonial Diasporas and Transatlantic Belonging (Rowman & Littlefield International, London & New York, Sept. 2016) and co-editor (with Nalini Iyer and Amritjit Singh) of Revisiting India's Partition: New Essays on Memory, Culture, & Politics (Lexington Books, Washington, D.C., June 2016). He is an Article Editor for Postcolonial Text, and is currently working on a new book project that critically tracks shifting meanings of "home" in digital identities & cultures of 21st-century South Asia.
