I am the editor-in-chief of the accredited journal Communicatio: South African Journal for Communication Theory and Research, on various editorial and subject-related committees, supervisor of various completed Masters' and PhD students and emeritus professor after a university teaching career of forty years. I am a NRF (National Research Foundation)-rated South African researcher, a fellow of the Institute of Communicology USA)and the holder of various South African grants and awards in the field of Communication Science.
