Patrick Baughan is a Principal Teaching Fellow and Head of the Arena Fellowship Programme at the Arena Centre, University College London (UCL). This role involves guiding participants (university staff) towards achieving fellowships of the (UK) Higher Education Academy, through a wide variety of workshops, taught sessions, and personal development. Prior to that, Patrick was a Senior Lecturer in Educational Development at City, University of London. Patrick is an experienced academic developer with particular interests in assessment, feedback, academic integrity, and sustainability in higher education. He has researched and published widely in these areas. He is also a convenor for the European Educational Research Association (EERA) and undertakes various roles for the (UK) Society for Research into Higher Education (SRHE). He is an External Examiner at the University of Leicester and is in the final stages of completing a PhD in Educational Research at the University of Lancaster.
