  Nicci van der Merwe is the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Director at Waves for Change (W4C); a regional non-profit organisation providing child-friendly mental health services using surf therapy. Nicci holds a Masters degree in Program Evaluation (from the University of Cape Town), as well as a Masters degree in Criminology (from the University of South Africa). She is responsible for quality program implementation, program evaluation, learning and research at W4C. Nicci has over 10 years' work experience, including in the tertiary education-, non-profit-, and consulting sectors.
