  I am a postgraduate research assistant at the Deprtament of Agriculture and Animal Health at the University of South Africa. Prior to this, I worked as a researcher at the Centre for Science, Technology and Innovation Indicators within the Human Sciences and Research Council (HSRC) for more than five years. I hold a BSc (MedBioScience) BSc Honours from the University of Western Cape and an MSc from the University of Pretoria. I am currently pursuing PhD in Department of Life and Consumer Sciences at the University of South Africa. My research interests include indigenous vegetables and how these vegetables can be useful in tackling the food insecurity and malnutrition problem in the South African context.
