  I began my teaching career at a high school that I attended after completing a three-year teaching diploma. Mathematics was a natural teaching subject choice. Part time degree studies resulted in completion of a B.Sc degree, gaining distinctions in majors, viz. Mathematics and Physics. This was followed by a full- time B.Sc(Hon) degree with Physics major at the University of KwaZulu Natal. My appointment as deputy principal resulted in the development of a computer centre at the school under my guidance. In 2005 I was appointment as a Mathematics Lecturer at the Durban University of technology. Commitment and dedication to teaching and lecturing led to the completion of an M.ed(maths Education)degree in 2012.Subsequent exposure to advantages and uses of teaching and learning via online mathematics became a dedicated aim. This led to the design and development of the Mathematics learning module currently used on the Moodle site. Leading the 'Pathfinder Project, an initiative by the university to include online content in curricular, led to four journal articles published thus far. In addition, I presented at two DUT institutional research conferences to date. My first international presentation took place in July 2017, at an International Conference on Education and Distance Learning held in Maldives. This paper is part of my current Doctoral studies.
