Nancy Kathryn Burns is Associate Curator of Prints, Drawings, and Photographs at the Worcester Art Museum. She received an M.F.A from Brown University and has organized or co-organized ten shows at the museum. She is co-curator of "Rediscovering an American Community of Color: The Photographs of William Bullard, 1897-1917," exhibited at the Worcester Art Museum, October 2017-February 2018. The exhibition features recently discovered images of Native Americans and African Americans taken at the turn of the 20th century. One of her recent exhibitions, "Cyanotypes: Photography's Blue Period"(2016) received the 2017 Award for Excellence from the Association of Art Museum Curators. Ms. Burns has also teaches courses at Clark University and the College of the Holy Cross.
