  Dr. Marie-Eve Skelling Desmeules is a postdoctoral fellow at Concordia University, studying circus training experiences in different professional circus schools. She is also a part-time professor at University of Ottawa since 2011 and a high school drama teacher. During her university studies, she firstly completed the profesional actor training at the École supérieure de théâtre (Université du Québec à Montréal) before continuing her undergraduate and graduate studies in education at University of Ottawa. She recentrly received the Governor general's gold medal for her Ph.D. thesis that aims at understanding corporeal work in different voice, acting and movement classes in a professional actor training.
