Marie Frier, b. 1982, is M.Sc. Eng. in Architecture from Aalborg University 2007, and currently she is a Ph.D. Fellow at the Department of Architecture & Design, Aalborg University, Denmark. Her PhD project “Interiority – Architecture in the Prefabricated Home” deals with architectural quality in domestic spaces, particularly the prefabricated economically feasible house. In her research she pursues theoretical and practical interrelations between architecture, furniture and construction technology as the means for improving the sensuous spatial quality of the prefabricated home. Marie received the Ejnar Packness Foundation travelling scholarship in 2007 and is a junior member of the order Cordon Bleu du Saint Esprit.
