Manfred Meine has been teaching at the University level for over 30 years, and he currently holds the academic rank of professor and is a member of the TROY Public Administration graduate faculty. He has served Troy University for more than 16 years in a number of roles including Public Administration Department Chair, and as Director of extended campuses. Meine’s professional background includes attendance at the FBI National Academy, managing investigative units throughout the world, supervising personal security for two Secretaries of Defense, personnel management at Departmental Level and several investigative and training policy positions. Meine's education includes a Bachelor of Science Degree from the University of Nebraska at Omaha; a Master of Arts Degree from John Jay College, City University of New York; and a Ph.D. in Public Administration from Golden Gate University in San Francisco. Meine is the Immediate Past President of the Florida Advisory Council on Military Education (ACME) and he is active in the American Society for Public Administration (ASPA) where he is the treasurer of ASPA's Ethics Section. Meine has presented extensively in the international arena throughout Europe, and recently as a member of ASPA delegations in China and Russia.
