Dr Mandy Archibald is a Registered Nurse, exhibiting artist, postdoctoral research fellow and knowledge translation co-lead for a NHMRC funded transdisciplinary research Center for Research Excellence in frailty and healthy ageing. She earned her PhD in Nursing from the University of Alberta and was honored with the Genevieve Gray Medal, awarded to the top PhD in Nursing graduate. Dr Archibald has received over 30 local, state and national awards and recognitions for clinical and research excellence and innovation, including a Top 150 Nurses in Canada recognition, a Canadian Clinician Scientist Fellowship, and a Canadian Institute for Health Research Fellowship. Her research merges collaborative and person-centered care principles, the arts, and knowledge translation for improved patient care in chronic disease contexts.
