  Lorna E. Rourke is the University Librarian at St. Jerome's University in the University of Waterloo, Ontario, Canada. Her research focuses on information literacy and the evaluation of information; the impact of generational differences in universities;  mental health and wellness issues among university students and faculty; and labour issues in academic libraries. She has been an instructor in the Master of Library Science Program, University of Western Ontario, Canada, and in the Library Techniques Program at Mohawk College, Hamilton, Canada. She is a past recipient of the Ontario College and University Library Association Lifetime Achievement Award and the University of Guelph Academic Librarianship Award.
