I obtained a PhD in Curriculum, Teaching and Education Policy from Michigan State University and currently work as an Associate Professor in the Department of Further Teacher Education at UNISA, where I provide tuition in science education courses. In the past few years, I worked on science and environmental education research projects at the University of Pretoria, where I was also responsible for directing a post-graduate research centre - the Joint Centre for Science, Mathematics, and Technology Education. My research interests are in the areas of science education, teacher development and educational leadership.
