I am Lilit Sargsyan from the Republic of Armenia. I graduated from Yerevan State University, acquiring BA Philology degree, and from Public Administration Academy of the Republic of Armenia, acquiring MA Psychology degree. I came to Germany as a student in MA Intercultural Theology and started my PhD in Religious Studies two years ago. My research is about Armenians as an ethnic group in Germany, more specifically, about their religious identity and integration. The main focus of the research is on their religious and ethnic identities, as well as hybrid lifestyle in the integration process. The research methodology is qualitative that consists of semi-biographical interviews, as well as the questionnaire of the Centrality of Religiosity Scale of Stefan Huber. I am generally interested in investigating the concepts hybridisation, globalisation, religion, migration, integration, psychology of religion.
