The title of my course: Onboarding onto a Corporate Board

Board directors undertake appointments with a view to serving the organization, to create more value for it and its stakeholders. But frequently they lack the skills and knowledge they need - both"hard" and "soft" skills - to make an effective contribution. 

What does it mean to be a responsible director? What kinds of knowledge do you need to keep up with to balance the board's dual needs of oversight and support of the company? What are the tell-tale signs that the board dynamics may be dysfunctional? How can you ramp up in critical areas to start contributing to the board discussion and decisions as soon as possible? These are some of the questions we will address in this course.
