Following my teaching interests in health psychology,I am enamoured with the application of psychological principles, in particular, laws of behaviour to issues in health. This includes treatment, prevention and health promotion. The current study of the healthy campus community using participatory action research is a new area of investigation. The extent of student involvement in the research and the immediate transfer of knowledge using this type of design is most rewarding. As a faculty co-researcher and a core member of the research team, I have been involved in planning and data analysis. It has also been my pleasure to supervise student involvement in the project through class participation or individual projects.
