  Leanne Boschman is a recent graduate from the Languages, Cultures, and Literacies doctoral program in the Faculty of Education at Simon Fraser University. Entitled Supporting Diversity through Journaling: Seeing All Our Learning Selves Reflected in the Academy, her dissertation focused on socio-cultural aspects of academic literacy practices related to classroom journaling and examined ways that learning tools, such as the journal, can be expanded to enable learners to access a range of cultural, linguistic, and literacy tools. She is interested in expanding and supporting diverse learner identity frameworks through critical literacies and pedagogies. Currently, she is a sessional lecturer at Simon Fraser University and a Post-Doctoral Research Fellow in the Centre for Education, Law and Society. Less
