  Dr Lydia Bosede Akande is presently a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Religions, University of Ilorin, Nigeria. She formerly lectured in the Department of Islamic, Christian and Comparative Religious Studies, now Department of Religions, History and Heritage Studies, Kwara State University, Malete, between 2009 and 2016. Her areas of interest are Church History and Inter-faith Relations. She has good number of publications in reputable outlets, and has attended conferences both at national and international levels. She was a visiting scholar to the Department of Religion and African Studies, University of Georgia, Athens, USA, between January and May, 2015
