  Keila Taylor is a third year doctoral student in the Gender, Women's, and Sexaulity Studies department at the University of Washington. She earned her BA and MS in Sociology at the University of Texas in San Antonio. Her previous researched focused on Black feminist theory, intersectional identities, and secularism which is highlighted in her MS thesis. Currently, she is studying food, community, and identity through black queer feminist politics.
