  Kelly Mancini Becker is a lecturer at The University of Vermont. She teaches in the elementary education department. Here teaching and reserach interests are: art integration, kinesthetic learning, arts and peacebuilding, and arts advocacy and policy. Kelly has taught for over twenty years in a variety of public and private schools in Washington, DC and Vermont. She has worked extensively with arts organizations such as The Shakespeare Theater, The Folger Shakespeare Library, and Center for Inspired Teaching to implement arts programing into schools. Kelly was a founding teacher and Arts Coordinator for Two River Public Charter School and has extensive experience developing and implementing arts integration practices into classrooms.
