Dr. Kat Ringenbach is a full-time Professor of Psychology at Brandman University. Prior to her employment with the university, she worked for consulting firms, doing research and implementing programs in the areas of job selection, job performance measurement, motivation, job analysis, time urgency and burnout, attitude measurement, and safe work practices. In her role as a full time faculty at Brandman, Dr. Ringenbach has presented on assessment practices, integration of critical thinking into teaching, messaging about the Golden Rule in children’s programming, work-life balance, faculty governance, and mentoring. She has served as Faculty Assembly President for 6 ½ years and was elected for another 2-year term. In addition to her work with Brandman, she teaches as an adjunct at Antelope Valley Community College and serves as a faculty mentor for the Umoja program, a community developed to reduce barriers to graduation, particularly with students of color.
