I am an associate professor and chair of the Department of Dance at the University of Washington in Seattle. I teach contemporary modern technique, choreography, experiential dance history, teaching methods and "The Creative Process" where I teach students how to develop their creative and individual artistic and critical voices. I also teach graduate seminars in teaching methods, and collaborative creative methods. I spent seven years in NYC dancing for people such as David Dorfman and Chris Burnside and had my own company as well. I have taught master classes and schools around teh country as well as in Istanbul, Turkey and Asuncion, Paraguay. I am on faculty at Staibdance Summer Dance Intensive in Sorrtento, Italy.
