  I have participated in a number of research studies using both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. I teach mainly on health related programmes and am interested in the sociology of health and of sport. My main research interest is the ways in which both formal and informal learning can interact with other areas of people’s lives. I am particularly interested in the development of capital through sport and ways in which class position can determine an interest in particular sports. Less
