Dr.Fardella recently retired after a lengthy career which has included Catholic social action as well as teaching in human services and clinical social work in the fields of addictions and mental health. Dr.Fardella brought an inter-disciplinary background in philosophy and history to the practice of social work. Dr.Fardella has presented at national and inter-national conferences on mental health reform. He has also published in the areas of mental health reform and social work and spirituality.
