  I have been in the field of Early Childhood Education since 1967. I have taught and directed ECE programs for preschool aged children. I have taught at the community college, baccalaureate and Master's program levels. At California State University, Northridge, I coordinated the Child Development BA program in Child Development for over 13 years and coordinated the MA program in Early Childhood Education for over 15 years. As Professor Emerita, I served as Lead Consultant of PEACH for its first 5 years (2011-2016). I continue in PEACH as Co-Lead Consultant since 2016, sharing the position with Nancy Hurlbut, Ph.D. I continue to teach a course in collaborative ECE program consulting in the ECE MA Program at CSUN.I have had three Fulbright awards in Early Childhood Education in Uruguay and Spain. I am fluent in Spansih and have published articles in international journals in Spanish and in English. Toni Isaacs, M.A., serves as PEACH Program Director since 2011. Barbra Rosner has been a member of PEACH since 2011 and a member of the PEACH leadership team since 2016.

  As a graduate student, I also was an assistant teacher in one of three demonstration preschools, part of a project called "Nurseries in Cross-Cultural Education." I have continued to work in ECE with deep commitment to cultural dynamics, dual language learners, systems change and advocacy, international ECE perspectives and family engagement in ECE programs.
