Since my undergraduate major in Comparative Literature: Renaissance Studies, my work has always been interdisciplinary. Initially, I published on Shakespeare and the visual arts. Most recently, I have been interested in cross-dressing in early Engliah literature, publishing articles on Chaucer and Shakespeare. In the classroom, I have always been interested in the possibilities provided by digital media. As long as 20 years ago, I presented a computerized system to enhance comments on student papers (I still use it in a very modified form) at IBM's booth at the MLA convention. For this conference, I would like to discuss my multi-media work resulting in radio dramas written, produced and presented by groups of students in a recent course. One group won a college award for their work.
