Associate Professor Jennifer is Dean, Learning and Teaching in the Faculty of Humanities at Curtin University. Her discipline area is instructional technology and she has a long history of working with digital technologies, having conducted projects exploring online communities, networks, mobile technologies, robotics and instructional technologies. Jennifer has led several international technology-based projects in the UK, India, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Australia. Her background was in secondary teaching where she taught English, history and technology. She has delivered many professional development programs; developed online resources and tools for teachers; and presented keynotes at conferences. She is the author of an award winning book; Teaching with ICT – Digital Pedagogies for Collaboration and Creativity and has recently published a new book; Teaching and Learning – Building Effective Pedagogies both with Oxford University Press.
