Jacqui Usiskin received her Master of Studies in the History of Art and Visual Culture with distinction from the University of Oxford in 2016 and her Bachelor of Fine Arts (Honours) in Art History from the University of Manitoba in 2013. With an analytical curiosity drawn towards ontological considerations of lens-based artworks, Jacqui’s research focuses on art theory regarding time, perception and reception. She recently spoke at After Chantal: An International Conference hosted by The Centre for Research and Education in Arts and Media (CREAM) at the University of Westminster, London. She has completed internships at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection, Venice, and the Centre for Contemporary Art, Tel Aviv. Jacqui currently resides in Whitehorse, Canada where she works in the visual arts department of the Yukon Arts Centre.
